Coming to visit Alison and Mavis was my saving grace through the pandemic and after my hip operation. I have such happy memories,  especially the last few Christmas seasons i spent with them. Oh how we laughed til we cried, entertaining mavis with our singing and dancing antics. Im sure Lisa and Lynn (carers to mavis) thought we were totally bonkers . The Room was always filled with warmth and happiness. Dementia is cruel and extremely hard to watch someone you love decline in this way. I do hope my regular visits these last four years gave just a little happiness to mavis. Much Love Mavis you helped me as much as i hope i helped you.
